Anenome

Wearing: Cotton On mens shirt, Bec & Bridge Anenome skirt and Tony Bianco Tate boots

I've had this skirt for a good six months now but never have had the chance to put it up on the blog, which is somewhat criminal because of; A. it is one of the few non-monochrome pieces I own and B. that floral pattern is kind of stunning. It was my Christmas skirt, meaning every Christmas I buy a new skirt to wear on Christmas Day.
Just quietly how good a mens shirts. Comfortable and functionally. I'm developing quite a collection. xx

Madikwe

Over Easter break, my family and I took a trip to South Africa to see family and to finally go on a safari. It's something that should be on everyone's bucket list and it's an understatement to say that I was just a tad keen to go. We went to Madikwe reserve which is a four hour drive north of Johannesburg. Here are just some of the photos I took on our three day stay. And I'll tell you everytime an animal popped up, I got very snap happy. What's great about Madikwe reserve compared to others is that the rangers are allowed to go off road, so when you're not watching wildlife, you're taking a 4wd rollercoaster ride, which is pretty damn fun. The highlight of the trip was seeing three lions bonding together, they were nudging each other and playing stacks on just like kids, was really something to see. xx

Bringing Me Back

Hello Cyber peoples, I have been very much absent lately. Mainly due to work but also because over Easter I went to South Africa! Pictures to come soon but for now here's something to remind you of warmer months as the weather in Sydney gets ridiculously cold. Wearing Bec & Bridge skirt and my favourite Jeffrey Campbells. xx

Tapestry

Wearing: Keepsake Tapestry shorts, Sportsgirl cami and Tony Bianco Tate boots

Keeping it simple but interesting this weekend with this post. As you all know I'm a hardcore monochrome fan and the only pattern I'll ever touch is usually a muted floral, but even I couldn't let this gorgeous tapestry pattern from Keepsake the Label pass me by. Navy and gold what an awesome combination - and one I should do more often - blended into perfect winter shorts. Showing off my new winter boots too, definitely making easing into the cooler months a little easier. Have a great weekend :) xx
